Chatchaya Spa offers Thai massage (traditional, oil and herbal compress), deep tissue and sports massage, reflexology, pregnancy massage, hot stone and aromatherapy, Indian head massage, Thai foot revival, Japanese Head Spa, Eve Taylor® facials, full-body scrubs, and two-treatment spa packages. Every treatment is tailored to you and delivered by VTCT-certified therapists across three dedicated floors in Penarth.

Short treatments — Back & Shoulder, Indian Head, Thai Foot and Express Facial — run for 30 minutes. Most signature massages and facials run for one hour. Thai Herbal Compress, Full Body Massage, Japanese Head Spa, Ultimate Facial and the spa packages run between 1 hour 20 minutes and 2 hours.

Live prices for every treatment, plus current packages and special offers, are shown on the Chatchaya Spa Fresha booking page. Two-treatment spa packages combine massage and facial pairings at a discounted rate, saving up to 14 per cent versus booking the treatments separately.

A Japanese Head Spa is a water-therapy scalp ritual combining deep cleansing, tension-melt scalp massage, waterfall therapy, a hydrating mini-facial and a professional wash and blow-dry. At Chatchaya Spa it runs for between one hour and one hour thirty minutes and is suitable for all hair types, including sensitive scalps. It is one of the only Japanese Head Spa treatments available in Wales.

Traditional Thai massage uses yoga-style stretches, manipulation and rhythmic pressure on a mat, typically without oils, to release deep tension and restore energy flow. Thai oil massage combines Thai pressure-point techniques with the gliding strokes of warm botanical oils for a softer, more relaxing experience. Both are 60-minute treatments at Chatchaya Spa and your therapist will advise on the best fit for you.

Yes — every facial uses Eve Taylor® London, a trusted British skincare brand with over 60 years of expertise, and each therapist tailors products and techniques to your specific skin type and concerns. Choose from a 30-minute Express Facial, a 60-minute Signature Facial or a 90-minute Ultimate Facial including an extended lifting massage.

Yes — Chatchaya Spa offers a specialised Mummy Massage designed for expectant mothers in the second and third trimesters (after the first 12 weeks of pregnancy). The treatment uses safe side-lying positioning and gentle pressure tailored to your changing body, and avoids any techniques unsuitable during pregnancy. If you have any high-risk pregnancy conditions we kindly ask that you check with your midwife or GP before booking, and please let us know your stage of pregnancy and any concerns when you book so the therapist can prepare accordingly.

Yes — Chatchaya offers four signature spa packages (Soothe, Radiance, Golden Glow, Rejuvenate) that pair two treatments at a discounted rate, saving up to 14 per cent compared with booking separately. Packages range from 60 minutes to 2 hours, and bespoke combinations can be arranged by calling the spa on 02922 970454.

Advance booking is strongly recommended, especially for weekends, evenings, the Japanese Head Spa and any of the signature packages, because the most popular slots fill several days ahead. Same-day bookings are sometimes available — the live Fresha calendar shows real-time availability twenty-four hours a day.
